I haven't watched the video, but wasn't the 405 sold in the USA after the 505? I thought the last Pug sold in USA was the 405 Mi16.
I spent a year in Chicago area in 1981/82, the 505s were quite popular. They did look odd with the rectangular US headlight in the trapezoidal surround.
