So after keeping this 306 XT HDI since 2015 in good condition my son decided to upgrade and sold it to a mate since then it’s hit a roo interior trim destroyed over heated bounced off any and everything and gone from Newcastle to Coonabarabran dozens of times I hadn’t heard anything for a while until a call today asking if I can do pink slip on it quick check and it’s been out of rego since January after explaining blue slip etc old mate said it’s all good I will just leave it in the back paddock such a shame this car was a peach it would have run for 10 years if just a ounce of care taken.

Funny my son got a Mazda 3 the other white good

Mazdas are fragile. Engine mounts, g'box mounts, suspension, etc. They all go and need replacing. Don't do it and you'll have to get a new car a lot sooner than you think. Good cars, but fragile. Nowhere near a Corolla. Same for Hondas (different quality class but same problem).
