Check out the Local Legends Sunraysia Safari offroad race currently running out of Wentworth in NE Victoria. I believe it's Australia's longest offroad event. My friends, father and son team of Rob and Dean Herridge, are both competing driving a Subaru Forester (Rob) and Subaru Cross Trek (Dean). For stage times you have to go to the Rallysafe website.

Rob 4th and Dean 21st after Day 2. Looks like Dean lost over an hour there somehow.

Great result for both Rob and Dean. Rob will ride this result to the hilt!
They also happen to be a couple of the nicest people I've ever met during my Rally journey, always the Half Full types no matter how battered the car is.
Classic Rob is at a Festival State Rally out of Adelaide and he roofs the Subaru coming down Chain of Ponds.
Once all the crashing/banging has stopped he tries to drive off. Car goes nowhere and he tells Fons his co-driver that the clutch or gearbox is broken. "No Rob, we're upside down." "Couldn't tell as I was staring at a rock face wall, not something at all common in Northam!"
