Stuffed 504 Radiator, Re core or replace with New

Could a 504 "B" radiator be one which includes a heat exchanger for the auto transmission in automatic models. My 504 GL, which is a BW35 automatic, has this heat exchanger in the bottom of the radiator. Or do the manual versions also have it but simply not used?

No, this isn't present in radiators fitted originally to manuals.

You will need a rad out of an auto or (better still) fit an auxilliary transmission oil cooler.
