Hi all what spark plugs are best for my 1970 2 litre petrol engine 504?

It used to be NGK BP6ES. Try Googling for spark plug selectors of various plug makers.

Keep away from Bosch and champion. Valeo are good also from EAI . NGK are the only plugs the have anti seize build into the threads. But I always put some on there as it’s a cast aluminium head. Remember you need the ones that the ends screw off for the plug extension or spring.

I used to buy plugs from the local Chery dealer as most of my vehicles at the time took a long reach 14mm projector plug.
The J3 Chery uses the equivelant of a BP6ES.
$8 each packed in a nice red Chery box, open it up and a Bosch triple ground strap iridium plug falls out.👍
I've had a set in my supercharged Reliant for 6 years. Whether there's any Chery service places left is another story.🤔

NO ANTI SEIZE serious engine damage possible with alloy heads
One of many
