Rescued with a dead engine from a failed timing belt tensioner - previous owners didn’t know and the belt/tensioner assembly made it to 9 years before the plastic pulley of the tensioner separated from its bearing. Result 8 bent exhaust valves 
So I put another head on it and brought a lot of servicing up to date. New brakes - rotors/pads/hoses all round. New rear shock absorbers. Good premium Goodyear tyres.
Body and interior are immaculate. As in amazing… I’ve had a few of these and you don’t see them like this anymore. Cool Tassie climate is good to cars!!
Only 105K kms on it. New registration and totally serviced. New timing belt and water pump obviously with the head replacement, but every fluid and filter is new too. Am asking top dollar in the tight Tassie market at $6K plus, but it’s as good as a Meg 2 gets.
Totally stock except for replacing the factory fog lights with LED daytime running lights - relayed to come on automatically and go off when the main lights come on.
New engine mounts and accessory belt/tensioner too. AC is cold.
And on the offchance there is a Meg2 fan (like me ) on the mainland who is keen, I’m totally happy to deliver this anywhere from Adelaide to Sydney to Melbourne if you’re ok paying the ferry fare.
