This car was owned by my grandfather, who some in this group might be familiar with, for approximately 50 years. Regrettably we must move it on due to lack of space and time to properly look after it.
As per photos the paint work isn't perfect. Rather than undergo a full body restoration the patina is preserved using Ankor Wax for a unique look.
Engine is original and to my knowledge the transmission and diff were transplanted from a donor 203 of the same vintage about 2 years ago.
Tyres are original spec Michelin X in proper 400mm size. Year of manufacture is 2018 with barely any driving so still plenty of life left.
Speedo and wipers work intermittently. Brakes are acceptable enough to pass rego in Dec 2021.
Comes with a box (pictured) of misc. spares such as badges, drive belts, oils and classic Peugeot merchandise/materials.
Historic rego is non-transferrable and as such prospective buyers should be ready with their own club membership and an unregistered vehicle permit should they want to drive it away.
Car is available for inspection in Umina Beach 2257.
The buyer will also get the donor 203 as-is where-is (Jerilderie NSW) if they want it. At the very least this is a rolling shell. Any further availability of parts on it cannot be confirmed.
