rusty 304 for parts

Just saw this in the trading post:

Peugeot 304, too rusty to register, great for parts, complete or parts from $20 BONDI 0416-22 3559

Of course it could be a miss-print, and they may have meant 504 or 404.

I'd happily give $20 for the engine out of a 304...

But if you read the post, you'll see that it's "complete or parts from $20"... or better expressed with punctuation etc:

"Complete, or parts from $20 each"

It was a 504, don't know if it was sold...

apparently it had too much rust in the roof to bother getting it fixed again as the owner was told that it will only be rusty again in 12months again and so she didn't want to get it fixed for rego
she said it was 20years old and she was told that 504's weren't around 20 years ago
can't help some people not knowing but 20 years ago would make that a late model 504
rust in the roof ? maybe it was a sunroof model but can't picture too many late 504's with sunroofs

20 years ago the only new 504s were wagons...

It was older than that.
