RHR and 6 speed manual into D9 406.

Hi to all; Because it is not logical that I am the first to think of replacing a D9 2.0 HDi with a RHR 2.0 HDi it is hoped that some useful information will be forthcoming, and save me from re-inventing the wheel.

If you could snag a engine ecu out of one of the 307 can van cars with the late rhr it would make the electrical side a lot easier but you would need to get it de immobilised

ECU without Immo is available to thoughs with skills. Pretty sure the ecu clone guy Mike from Gumtree said he could do this.
Would you still need to match BSI and ECU?
Would need a gearbox TCU as well but it doesn't need to be matched.
