I had two used but near new Dura 306 clutch cables and figured how to reset them.
Assuming there’s room for the cable ties when fitting it should work. 6 cable ties required.
Step 1 - separate the body. Note the four plastic clippy bits that hold the body together.
Step 2 - Rotate the body so the clips are no longer visible.
Step 3 - Pull the body apart
Step 4 - Set up cable ties as shown
Step 5 - Put foot on the cable and push plastic body towards foot to compress the spring and rubber boot. Tighten cable ties
Step 6 - Push body back together and ensure the clips hold the body together.
Finished product looks like this:
