i see advertised a reno 105 with alpine motor for$1200. what does it look like can anybody say??

well at a gues I'd say along the following lines:

Renault 10s
Pug 105?
Renault 5

The 1st being the most likely.

Hey fellas

The car you saw is a R10 with a R5 Alpine donk in it. I've already checked it out and the body is a bit rough and has had a bit of a thrashings.
The donk is the only good thing with it.
