Renault25 v6 Baccara Error1 on dash readout

My Renault 25 V6 Baccara has a dash readout message Error1 on turning the key on all dash lights work but on starting I lose the tacho, speedo and oil pressure gauge. Temp readout still works as do the trafficators and dash headlight indicators and car runs OK. Error1 message remains on readout.

I have checked fuses and everything I can think of even taking the dash out and checking all connections to no avail!

Any suggestions to eradicate this fault would be welcome.

Have you connected it up to an RX25 diagnostic computer???

If it was $100 or so I'd respectfully suggest you buy it even if your car was temporarily running like a brand new Roller.

If the V6 is like the 25, 2.2 the dashboard electrics are a constant problem temporarily solved by resoldering sections
