Renault distributor?

Is this a Renault distributor, looks pretty unused if anyone can identify it?

Looks superficially like an R8/10/12 Ducellier but with a funny steel insert in the two-pin drive dog at the bottom. There's an 'o' ring groove extra too. So I doubt it is what I suggest it might be.....

It should have a Ducellier model number stamped around the body - that would help.
 
Square insert is OK for Peugeot, the big round bit and the upper part is not. Maybe something like a 204?
 
Usually Renault distributors for the R8 R10 R12 R15 R16 R17 have two sets of numbers on them, one for the centrifugal curve and the other for the vacuum curve, eg R***-C**.

There is a 48 sticker, could be the curve, M48 is a common one.
