Description: The Airbag Warning Light come on intermittently.

Official Cause: The wire for the pre-tensioner under the passenger seat gets "pulled" as the seat is moved back and forth, resulting in a loose connection with the connector, under the seat coushion.

Official Fix: "Faulty Connector". Dealer will remove the connector and hardwire it instead. Has been fine since.

Comments: Somewhat common in Clios, and Renault knows about it.
My own investigation seems to suggest that the pre-tensioner wire would get caught up on the CD-changer as the seat is moved fore-and-aft, pulling it and creating a invisible loose connection within the connector.
