Can anyone give any information on the Renault6?
I know it never came out to Australia. It was the smaler version of the 16 but better than the 4.

Anything else about this car people would like to pass on.

which is of course why the 4 was produced into the 1990's, long after the 6 was history

....and if the 6 was the smaller version of the 16, then what was the 4??....maybe the 16 was the much bigger version of the 4 and the 6 was the slightly bigger version of the 4....I'm sure that you could work that out on a calculator some how.

Nick and Jan Davies trotted out their immaculate 6 at French Car day here a few years back...what an impressive bit of work.
cheers!

Renault 6:

Introduced in 1968. Identical floorpan as the R4, not related to the 16.

845cc engine with four speed 'box on the early cars, later supplemented by the 1108cc motor with disc brakes. Early cars had round lights, in 1974 replaced by square lights.

There are a number of private imports in AUS.
