renault 12 transmissions

Does anyone know any thing about the renault 12 auto transmissions. My car is getting to 3rd gear and seems to be stuck and revving high. I have checked the fluid and it is full.

Do you think my auto gerbox may need replacing? Can anyone help me?

Hi,

from what I've heard(and my sister Auto R12), not changing into 1st is a blown fuse(clean all your fuse contacts, even if they look OK). Your Auto sounds like it could be on it's last legs. ***don't*** be a sucker and let someone slug you for a new computer, there usualy the last things to go. The cheapest way out of this situation is usualy a manual gearbox conversion....
