I think that 700 RCZ's were sold in Oz. They were licensing late 2013 imports in early 2015.

There is only one other RCZ like mine for sale on the internet. And only one RCZ-R. Check it out:

And for any other RCZ Pug owners are cars are becoming quite rare.

An RCZ will turn any head, over a Merc, BMW, Audi, et. al.

Only 68,000 units manufactured at the Magna factory in Austria. Along side BMW's, Bentley's even.

UK numbers:

Very few RCZ GT THP200’s were sold overall. In the UK, they rated low in sales.

Quite a few have been scrapped and crashed.

That said, you can get an RCZ for cheaper than 205 GTi. Which one is the better buy?

Better buy? Up to the individual. Taking on a 205 GTi is not my choice, as the safety features are now sub-standard and decades old.

I have this as a great substitute:

Owned it since brand new - 1992.

This is not my cup of tea:

But this is?

Ever driven an RCZ GT THP200? You'll know the difference.

The stylish French coupe remains one of the very best new car designs of the current era.

Cheers.

You'll enjoy this.

They should have thrown in a 1988 205 GTi - prolly would have won?

This is the RCZ THP200 MkI - 2010 -2013.
The THP200 engine actually puts out a bit more bhp when stock. All UK dyno runs have indicated from 210 - 225 bhp. It's all in the big turbo/intercooler, huge exhaust header pipe and more so the high-tech cylinder head, (variable cam and high lift tech), all of which you don't find on the THP150. My THP200 has black callipers, short shift gear stick, and is as solid as a rock.

It is a very French sports car. Not a hot hatch.

Peugeot currently manufactures the most powerful 1.6 lit petrol engine on the planet. They persevered with the Prince engine and still flog it today.

The only 'double-bubble' roof in the world.

Huh? Isn't the 'double bubble' roof a Zagato trade mark used on most of their cars? Or do you mean 'the only manufacturer currently copying this Zagato trade mark'?

Zagato correct, as seen on the magnificent Zegato inspired La Mans 24 hour 2009 racer than this:

The idea for the RCZ. Yes. Zegato and PSA have a strong relationship.

As seen here:

Now come on dudes, get with RCZ talk. To many 404's 405,s 205's 105's, zero 05's, this is new speak.

RCZ stands for 'Racing Concept Zagato'.

What's to talk about? It's just a 308 wearing a fancy frock.

An older slower 308

True, I'd love to see Peugeot revisit the RCZ based on the current 308 design....

Well there you go - I never knew that. But not actually designed by Zagato.

Zagato is more a design house these days, like it's other Italian breeds - Pininfarina and Guigiaro.

PSA used the 308 as a base, (to keep costs down) and worked it from there. Manufactured solely at the Steyr/Magna factory in Austria. Lower and wider stance, improved firmness with under chases braces, 330 mm brakes, caster/camber enhancements, great engine (Pug 308 GTi) and looks to kill for. Nineteen inch wheels shod with 235/40/R19 rubber.

What's with you dyed in the wool 404 and 504 stalwarts. It's a Pug for goodness sake. A French sports car that took on the hairdresser Audi TT.

Actually used a platform as a base so same as Berlingo Picasso and 308 you dribble on about the old guys here with there 04s etc because they are stuck in the past but the rcz is now the past the 12 hour as well, the rcz is ok only really good in r form bit under powered with the 200, I’ve driven every hot pug since the mi16 from new to big mileage worked on all of them as well I will give the rcz one nod on most of them it’s the best to work on.
