R8G oil pressure switch

Any special reason why it has to be R8G specific? Pretty much all Renault (and Peugeot) engines I know of used the same/similar switch.
Furthermore, I would hazard a guess that as long as the thread fits any would do. If you are worried about the activation pressure you can check the specs but I think pretty much all of them close at .4-.6 bar.

Have you discovered the various French suppliers? We get parts here in 7-10 days as a rule. The trick is to order in big batches to spread the postage costs over the cost of the parts. Arnaud Ventoux Pieces, Ichard, Mecaparts, Melun Retro Passion, Bretagne Auto Retro, Der Franzose...
You aren't asking about a sender unit for an oil pressure gauge I guess? Same suppliers perhaps.
