Hi Brett. Those roller rockers would be easier to adjust than the standard ones? Would love to know more about them if you wouldn't mind. Off the shelf for our 807's?

Adjusting is the same exercise because they have the same adjuster. Probably easier on the timing gear being lighter.

How much would you pay for a set?

The only difficulty is to know what is the material, but I would pretty confident to guess 7075 T6. With that question answered, I could make those on my machines, there's nothing difficult about it, just a lot of faffing about and measuring carefully.

Schlitz, see the ref in post #798 below if you want a quote and confirmation of the material details for those rockers.

Nauli, the baseball bat is an old hot rodding trick to flare the guards for fat tyres. A bit of 2" pipe also works when you wedge it between the guard and the standard tyre then roll the car forward so the metal is stretched/formed. I seem to recall that BrettR described the process with his usual how to pics.

And here was i thinking it was for dissauding any body that got too curious about what was going on.

Okay, that mob only lists roller rockers for some american cars and they say it's cast stainless (?) steel, no reference to the material code, but I reckon I could do it with better material (stainless). The price just shot up though. In your picture they looked like anodized Aluminium. Could you confirm?

Another job done.

All steel guards for 7's.

I know, too obscene for 99% of the establishment but a 7 rear with a 205 and 6 front with a 185 makes the car feel right and handle safely.

You make it look so easy. Proper work there!

Dunno about 99% of the establishment disapproving. I reckon you've done a great and very discreet job. Most people wouldn't even know they were flared.

Nice photos too - thanks for showing us the work.

Now for your 2020 posts...

Who cares about a bunch of potential Luddites...the guards look great and are totally functional....the flared guards on my Alpine may even offend some people....who knows (and cares)?

New front tyres to match the rear for grip...

And these are the only tyres I have ever had mounted that both balanced 100% with no weights added.

Never seen that before....
