I ain't no expert and defer to anyone with better information. I have a fully electronic ignition on an 807 motor, but this if from my notes from before the swap.

Might be more than 1 setting due to different distributors on different models, check the manual against the Dizzy number, which will be on the body of the Dizzy - usually up against the rocker cover making it hard to read.

The automatic distributors also had a different advance curve to the manual versions. I have always set the idle initial advance with the vacuum hose disconnected and plugged, whether that is right or wrong. On my modified 807 engines with higher compression and bigger cam, I run around 8-10 deg initial with a total of 30-32 at 3500 to 4000 rpm, but have no vacuum module attached. This reduced range is achieved by welding up the centrifugal slots and filing to size to reduce the curve. I generally like the Bosch distributor to modify. Often the Ducelliors have worn bushes on the weights, where the Bosch units seem to get less worn. Also the Bosch has a straight advance slot, where the Ducellior is curved and more difficult to file into a nice shape.

In my next iteration on the 807, I will have fuel injection so I will need to draw up my own curve.
