I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what engine mounts to use for XD2, XD3 turbo diesel engines in a 505. Mine currently has the same mounts as the 2.2L GTI engine. These are worn and soft: there is a lot of engine movement when the throttle is applied. Did the series 2 cars come with this mount same as the GTI or should it have a different style mount? There a multiple options online and I wonder which is better suited to the diesel engine. I will try to attach two pics of the different styles available. The bigger round one is the GTI mount and more expensive.
