Hi Ken, I know a factory-trained mechanic who lives about 10 minutes away. He used to operate a workshop in Moorabbin, he's now a mobile mechanic, he said to give him a call as soon as he's allowed to travel. The swap out was the easy part, I've been having faults popping up on the computer for the last 3yrs but my usual mechanic, who is a European car specialist, couldn't find which sensor it came from and yes he does have a Lexia diag computer. Looks like I might be going back to a pre-computer Cit or back to Renault.I wouldn't even try to fix this complexity of fault without a Diagbox so I could talk to the computers. I am amazed you have got so far with this repair. Have been able to find someone nearby who has one?
Cheers, Ken
Wasn't a repair, just a replacement. I was quoted $5000, from a large Citroen dealership south of Melbourne, to swap the hydraulic pump which included the price for the pump. I used the black box from the car's original pump.I wouldn't even try to fix this complexity of fault without a Diagbox so I could talk to the computers. I am amazed you have got so far with this repair. Have been able to find someone nearby who has one?
Cheers, Ken
Hi David, is this a pic of an X7 C5? The fuse box in my series 2 C5 isn't set up the same way.
