Is this true, read in news the other day that peugeot and citreon are abandoning WRC at the end of this season. Will that mean subaru have a free run.

Yes, it is true.

I think they were also hoping to finish on a high note, although the number of championships that Peugeot recorded with their 206 WRC is worthy of praise anyway.

The 307 WRC needs ongoing development, but has proved its potential this year in a couple of events.

Cheers,
Kim.

Peugeot may continue with 307 WRC at Bozian Racing with technical support from factory. Like Prodrive with Subaru or M-Sport with Ford or RallyArt with Mitsubishi.

And Citroen will either continue rallying as a full factory team or they might do a same trick with Cronos Racing.

Any way it is true that Peugeot will continue to WTCC World Touring Car Championship. They have made 407 ready for that already.
