Pug 306 GTI-6 Power stering ram

Hi peeps,

I have an issue with my power steering ram, its worn out and leaks, everyone I've talked to is unable to rebuild it as it is seal and a through away unit.
I've tried lots of places to to get a new one but alas even Peugeot advised the are not made any more.
Also all the second hand units I've seen are just as bad...

So I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they solved it!

Does anyone know if the power steering ram off another car will work?

Sure it’s not the pipes they sell reman ones like this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/332541848720 I would replace the pipes as well
