Buying new European cars does 'option' mean one chooses from the menu of drivetrains, duco and fit-out - or - if they are lucky, there is something in the country that matched some of their wish-list?
Would a distributor ever adapt to suit from available stock?
As a $5000 'option' to mix and match seats might be do-able, I'm thinking.

Yes getting leather fitted is pretty common but doing trim swaps has been common in the past not so much now it becomes a problem under warranty because the part numbers of parts become useless and you cannot claim a part the car shouldn’t have.
