Just received an e-mail on one of my lists from a guy in the US. If we reckon we're hard done by with prices of Cits compared with UK & Europe, <img src="graemlins/8ball.gif" border="0" alt="[8 Ball]" /> wonder what this guy thinks? 
"For Sale : '83 Citroen BX 16TRS
This car was imported by a BMW gray market conversion
company. Purchased the car in early '90s from a guy in
Phoenix, sight unseen. The car has been hit in the
rear
and repaired well. The car had overheated to the point
of needing a new head gasket, and repaired correctly.
The radiator has been upgraded to the type used on
cars with a/c (much larger), although the car is not
equiped with a/c. Is is a metal light blue with cloth
interior. The paint is still very good, the interior
has seen better days cloth wise, but many of the
interior plastic pieces have been replaced. The engine
is a carbed 1600 Peugeot engine, sharing many of the
same components as the US 405 (infact a 405 1900 will
easily take the 1600's place). Last driven about five
years ago after developing a hydraulic leak in the
right front cylinder. Have the parts to repair the
leak, plus numerous additional spares, but no time
and losing storage space. Would like to sell this
car before the end of the summer, sooner if possible.
Honestly don't know of any other BX in the country,
there may be, but I don't know of it. Asking $7,000.00
as is, where is (Dallas, TX)
