Hey Fellas

There is a good article in the lattest issue of Practical Classics Magazine on the Renault Alpine A110. The story works its way up to the lattest edition GTA its quite a good read.

Keep an eye out for it.

Hey Ash,

i got a practical classics over here with an article on an R17TL! Only problem was they chose to do a feature on a mark II? mallet

Anyway it's worth a look if you like your R17's.

Cheers Ben

Hey Ben

Yea I saw that Feature they did on that Green TL. It dosn't look to bad. But given the choice I'd take a Mk1 over a Mk 2 anyday.

Also in this lattest issue of Practial Classic's they do a short write up of that 1800cc 16 valve 200HP engine that looks a little like this.

It rocks.

See the job the guy with the green Mk 2 got for the decals! Very impressive! I'll have a look out for the Alpines - my father in law gets every issue, so it's cheap for me... :D

Is there a website for that practical classics- i tried to find it before but had no luck- b--y search engines!!

Yeah Stuey the guy with that 17 did a good job of it, rather him than me trying to find bits for that sunroof!! I am trying to convince my brother to go for the decals on the side but in white on his orange 12- like the gordini's!

I am picking up another 17 in the next month - at the best price!free....It's an ex Oz car apparently- so hopefully not too much rust?!
Now that I have done all that is neccessary to fit an 18 turbo into a 17 and I have a spare motor the wheels are turning in my head...... head_ban

Ben

I forgot to add- what was that motor off Ash- an 1800cc 16 valve- fairly late model then- or a rather expensive and rare addition to a 17 motor. I must admit I didn't see much on that block that looked even vaguely familiar!

Was Actually quite suprised when I was doin my weekly Car mag shoppin at the local newsagent on the weekend.
Picked up the lattest Fast Fours Mag, started flickin through it, and a couple of pages into it a R17 pops up on the pages. It spun me out.

I think it was the R17 that ran in the Targa Tasmania or something.

They dont say much about the car in general but focus on how thay raised over 10K for Diabieties.

Hey Ash, what month was the practical classics as I can't find it in the newsagents?
