Quick update - my DS150e arrived and the software it shipped with installed and worked (no complaints from Avira virus scanner). It took a few attempts to get everything set up, but far easier than the pp2000/diagbox install.
I am stilll learning the s/w and want to upgrade to the 2016 version recommended by dmccurtayne.
Errors reported by the ds150e:
P1351 - glow plugs/relay
Multifunction display - 8c7 navigator esc button not recognised and 8f0 no comms with handsfree
Radio - 905 left hand analogue aux audio input 1 not recognised
Tyre pressure monitoring - U1213 incorrect vehicle speed signal from ABS or ESP
BSI - 5ff BSI internal fault not recognised
Climate control - 702 Passenger compartment humidity sensor not recognised.
I suspect several of them are just due to options that are not enabled on my car.
