Was an auto zf4 now Ba7x5 and very smooth. New clutch and all associated bits .just finished repacking the drive shafts and new boots plus new engine mounts, it has the requisite oil leak from rear of head however she’s in for a top end rebuild next Monday.
Goes very well no issues just an annoying oil leak Till next week 🤪
Done only 164k so very sound.
Red pinstripe was original I have done up the bumpers and reinstalled the stripes.
I’ll include some more pics just gotta resize em.

Is this a 1988 model? Converted to manual, and wheels changed from later style to the earlier ones shown?

yes Genuine 88 however wheels are std have seen some of the late ones on diesel but not petrol don't know why .

yes converted not that it is hard just a swap over really, the gearbox is silky smooth super quiet and all new parts were used clutch, plate, master, slave, spigot, etc all new german shocks new tyres new engine mounts radiator rebuilt new pads on rear new boots & cans on driveshafts Head completely professionally rebuilt new head gasket. Motor and car will go on forever!
Some new spares, hard to get ones, almost new interior. too much to list and now offering $15000 ono.

This makes me sad. The car is great, now it's for sale. I could justify it's purchase price. But... I have no garage to store this in and it would be criminal for it to live on the mean streets of Willoughby. Really nice 505.
