Owen... I told Louis Eckerslie about the car. He runs Alpine Motors (repair shop) in Canberra and was quite interested to know it was about and also for sale.

He might have a customer who will show interest, you never know....

Thanks Ray and Chip! I have not advertised the car anywhere else as I am more interested in finding an appreciative owner than when I sell it.

well if it were cheaper AND if i had the money i'd consider it.
Am currently looking into a hydraulic rear suspension conversion again and this would work out cheaper.
But i've got a few other preferences as a second car before another 405.
