Hi,

I have a Peugeot Expert HDi van that has the depolution fault come on under load with loss of power.
Mainly towing or driving up hills.
Doesn’t do it while cruise control is on. Just powers up the hills.
Was contemplating an accelerator pedal change as no faulting when cruise was on.
We have tried most thinks short of a replacement turbo.

Anyone had a similar experience?

That dash message covers a whole array of problems (eg combustion, cat, particle filter, etc). You need at the very least an OBD code reading, or preferably a reading by Diagbox, to get the source of the error.

Done that with a Peugeot Mechanic and MTQ diesel specialists and they can’t work it out

I’m only guessing, but I recon it’s the Particulate Filter. I read somewhere that once a fault is recorded, it won’t do an auto regeneration. Have you tried a forced regeneration? It’s not a pretty sight, but may be worth a try.

Where are you located? You should get it scanned with Lexia and report the fault codes.

But why OK even under load with cruise control selected? That's the tricky bit.

Faulted under cruise yesterday
Today’s scan attached
