peugeot 505 tailgate struts

I am just after advice how to remove the struts of the tail gate struts of my Peugeot 505 wagon
as the gate does not hold up sometimes .broom stick is not option
are they just a hard pull or there is other way to do it.

Not difficult....I think they are the same as other cars, aren't they ? Look up on Youtube...

Hi Ron
No suggestion to take them off. But there are people who can regas them on the car and you can judge how much gas pressure to add. Google or ask around your area.

try EAI.OR STRUTS ARE US ,IV EVEN SEEN THEM AT BUNNINGS IN THE TOOL SECTION, WITH ALL THE OTHER CAR RELATED STUFF, OIL .FILTERS .TOWBALLS, ETC
