few more works, from last weekend.... the door
edges made with special brushes
and the last right edge
Slow but goes somehow... there are other little things on the tin ...
Hope you are aware that the window winder mechanisms in a 504 can be swapped front to back. Usually the rear window winders are in a an unworn condition.
I found something else 100 km from Belgrade
The car has been parked since 1990 ...
the chrome moldings that I missed, and a few more spare handles
and instrument panel, from which I would make a table lamp
if I do not embed .... somehow :roflmao:
What did you do about the waterdrain holes at the bottom of the windscreens, both front and rear, Dishaka ?
Did you seal them up ? Because many people have done this in the past, and it hasn't worked so well. It is best to create new ones.
If you look at the rear ones, there are small tubes. That is a good design.
I have created (larger) tubes like this in the front windscreen, and they have worked well.
I know you probably don't want to do it, but now is the time to do it.
One possibility is to put windscreen sealant all around the rubber to stop water getting in at all. Otherwise water WILL get in and it will just sit there and promote rust.
But the best (by far) is to create SLOTS so that the water drains out easily. I saw this design in Renault 12 s.
By "slots", I just mean a long indentation...like a drain or gutter in the street.
