Mine went out about a week ago... I drove around Brisbane and then the length of NSW (via Ncl, Syd, Forbes, Harden and Wagga) to Wodonga, and then on the way back from there...
Well, at some time pugrambo had mentioned to me that switching on the hazard lights might do something... but of course, having checked fuses, the leads to the switch, switching the canister, I knew it was a big problem...
Then, as I drove along, the rear window demister 'on' light came on... I switched it off and on and off a few times, still it stayed on... then I remembered pugrambo's mention of the hazard lights...
I switched them on... they worked!
Tried the blinkers... they worked!
... and soon enough the rear window demister light went off.
Don't ask... just try it!
Oh, as I resubmit this thread after many months, I realise that I went through this loss of blinkers routine just a couple of weeks ago and again forgot to simply turn on the hazards!
