I am yet to see a reliability survey that isn't statistical BS. Note the lack of meaningful maths. These aren't exactly science papers. and aren't worth the space newspapers give them.

They all have problems, even Japanese, and French are no worse than almost all. In their favour in Australia they are often a great deal cheaper to fix than models out of Korea or Japan or the Thai factories.
