Hi Thanks, for adding me to this Forum,

I have a question regarding a 2005 Peugeot 307 Diesel, what is the correct name of the plastic cover that sits on top of the head and has the egr pipe etc going into it ?, reason i am asking mine has split on the moulded joint and i am looking to replace it, I am in Tas if any body can help with one Cheers, Merv

More info what engine got a pic sounds like your talking about the intake manifold/ rocker cover assembly

[h=2]307 HDI 1.6 2005, pic is too big a file, but i am thinking that intake manifold as well, it is cracked on the back seam and blows out when revving and lack of power makes me wonder if it is a faulty manifold or there is too much pressure in there.[/h]

Not this some times the number one and two injectors leak compression and sound like you described

Yes, that is exactley the part, it has split at the rear on a seam and blowing air out, I was wondering if something made it split, just had the injectors renewed, and not long after this happenned
