Peugeot 205 SI, pump relay and power?

Got to move some cars out of the shed as the fires are close.

205 SI fuel pump not working.
Does the pump power up when the ignition is on like a 206 or does the starter activate it?

Forgot the multi meter today but will check with test light tomorrow.
Where is the relay?
Fuse is # 15 by the glove box , Ok .
Or is there something in the engine compartment?

Any ideas, please?

Probably seized pump due to being stored, Early Si has FP relay under the dash near the ECU, brown. Later cars have it over near the coolant catch tank. You could take the cover off and see what happens when you turn on the ignition. Also, you could activate the armature and see if the pump works. I have the exact same problem at the moment!

Hi Graham,

figured we would make contact.
Thank you.

Took cover off and hot wired it to battery late arvo... no action.. seized.

So it just powers with ignition on and doesn't need starter to activate?

Scored a worked 206 GTI 180 with minor rear damage a while back, runs very sweet.
What a beast!!

Regards,
Berridale.

I think the 206 pump is the same , pump only.
What do people do about the new hose as it is a tight bend?
