Newbie has a stupid question....(Citroen AX 1996)

Hi Guys,

I just bought me an AX 1.0 1996. Unfortunately no handbook came with it. I tried to check oil, water etc, but unfortunately all I could find was the oil checker, all the rest has no description on it, I don't want to mess up things by filling coolant into the windscreen washer etc etc, so my question is: does somebody have a picture or can at least explain me where to find what?

Hi, the coolant is filled directly into the radiator, the filler is on the side of the rad.
Just behind the left headlight ( as you look at the engine bay) you should notice a black tube 1 ½ inches in diameter sticking up from the inner wing. this is the screen washer filler. The engine filler is on top of the rocker cover. You should invest in a haynes manual. as it will give you plenty of usefull information, even if you don't intend to do the maintenance yourself.
Do that today, as any good car spares shop should have them!
