The 407 Coupe should be launched around Q4 2004 (~ 6 months after the launch of the bread and butter 407 models), so you're looking at 2005 in Australia. We're getting the 407 only 6 months after its launch in Europe 
The time between a car's launch and its arrival in Australia is a lot shorter these days than it used to be. It's generally been more of a problem for the European marques than the local ones (although the '93 'Widebody Camry' that was actually launched in '91 is a notable exception).

I just hope that it looks something like the ELIXIR concept and not a cross between 307 and something else.The whole ELIXIR car is superb and very little needs to be changed to have a stunning car.
