Yeah, it is 4x4, you can see the rear drive shaft dropping into the diff at the rear.

that would be an extreamly practical 4wd there.. nice and short short wheel base.. groudn clearance to make any land cruiser mand sick... and all with a lion on the grill :D :D lol well ill be.. wink

Other then the Paris to Dakar stuff, did Pug ever really get into 4WD's ... it's amazing they haven't released a "soft-roader" in the last 3 years - everyone has them.

Give it time ... no-one can afford to ignore the fastest growing segment of the market for the last 4 years ... not even Porsche ... OK Porsche went a little overboard, but as my father used to say "If your going to do something, make sure you do it right the first time!"

You would want a big set of coconuts to drive that up steep hills with decent (read 600 - 900mm) ledges, the very short wheel base would soon see it cartwheeling base over apex down the hill. Much like overly lifted zuks.

They don't have the big carrot to do so.

It's called the US market :)

Which model would adapt well to being placed on stilts with the compulsory grey plastic cladding? The sub 406 cars would probably need a bit more grunt too.
