All the hard work done over the past few years came to fruition in Round 2 of the MRA State Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park on Saturday. Race 1, an 18 min sprint, was uneventful with plenty of safety cars, with John finishing 13th overall and 1st in class. Race 2, a one-hour enduro under lights, was simply epic. John finished 5th outright and 1st in Under 2L, demolishing many bigger names and Over 2L cars. The compulsory pit stop went to plan and we finished with just the 2L in the surge tank. Looking forward to Round 4 on 6 June at SMSP. In the meantime, we'll be helping out Parry and Angus in Round 3 (Sydney 300), on 15 May.

Would love to see race gopro footage. Nice work!

Forgot to mention, there was a small racing incident. So we have some work to do.

Well done, thanks for posting the in car video, looks wet. A 1.46 lap time is not too shabby either. On the limiter changing up after the exit to T12 and nicely rolling off the throttle at the 100 brake mark at T1 too.

It looks wet but it wasn't. I'm not sure what was on the windscreen at that stage. It runs to 8100-8200 (limiter 8300) in 5th at the end of the main straight.

Thats flippin cool! Suppose it's still enough making power up there anyway?

There's plenty of power up there. Here's the lastest dyno, rpm is reading ~750 too low.

That must require a little less butt clenching with the Argo's on board! Looking like a very sorted beast these days (y)
