Hi all, strange one for you all. Got an intermittant ‘miss’ on idle and when cruising at constant RPM (any speed).
When it happens on idle noticeable from
exhaust as can visibly see exhaust gases drop off - it’s like a fuel injector isn’t firing on a random piston stroke.
On constant RPM cruising, you just notice the same effect as above, but when moving.
Car absolutely runs and idles perfect otherwise - is a tarmac rally car and runs up to redline smoothly and power delivery is fantastic otherwise!
No fault codes or K light. Runs new iridium plugs, 9.5mm TopGun plugs, new’ish rotor/distributor and 98 fuel. No vacuum leaks and clean T/B.
Any other ideas?
