Mi16 1.9 rear muffler options

Hi guys,

I'm still looking for a rear muffler for my Mi16 1.9. Can anyone suggest a good alternative to stock? I have been offered 206 GTI and 405 diesel rear mufflers. Would either of these work? How about aftermarket?

The original 1.9L Mi16 exhaust was twin skinned and measured 2.25" on the OD. Thus really equivalent to 2" in flow. Later 2L were 2.5" from memory. If it were mine, I'd fit a 2.25" OD6" centre offset muffler, approx. 21-22" long. I don't think 24" will fit. There are plenty of aftermarket options. Pop into your local exhaust place and ask the question(s).
