Simon I like the look of the article.Cant wait to see it here in serious numbers on the road. I thought it was based on the 607 platform?:confused:

Nope, the 607 was actually a "stretched" platform from an earlier time (from memory), whereas the 407 platform is one of the new ones. For reference:

On another note, am I the only one with a sick sense of humour. I've been waiting for someone to establish the link between the C6's bonnet popping up to "cushion the blow" in a pedestrian collision, and dodgy front strut mounts, but it hasn't happened yet :(

Citroen XM and Xantia owners dont find that expensive joke funny. :D
