Simon I like the look of the article.Cant wait to see it here in serious numbers on the road. I thought it was based on the 607 platform?
Does anyone know if the C6 is going to be at the Brissie Motor Show in early March?

Nope, the 607 was actually a "stretched" platform from an earlier time (from memory), whereas the 407 platform is one of the new ones. For reference:

On another note, am I the only one with a sick sense of humour. I've been waiting for someone to establish the link between the C6's bonnet popping up to "cushion the blow" in a pedestrian collision, and dodgy front strut mounts, but it hasn't happened yet

Yes well... we've seen XM's do that haven't we...
Citroen XM and Xantia owners dont find that expensive joke funny.
