Hi, I'm up on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. I have a 2008 C5 2.2L HDi Twin Turbo sedan, VIN VF7RC4HSJ76838887. Economy has suffered over this last year dropping from about 7.3L/100k to 9L/100k (around town) and similar reduction on Highway cycle economy. It is also running a bit rough on idle. So I am looking for a good man who realy knows his stuff when it comes to servicing this diesel engine. Can anyone give me a good contact for me to follow up, preferably local but if I have to go down to Brisbane (150k), so be it. Thanks.

Before you go down that route and if you can DIY, check for any split in the air piping and any vacuum hose leaks.
This intake air mixer valve (likely 0345F7) can eventually fail when oil enters the electronics and/or it sheds teeth on the plastic gear inside.
