For those interested the tour begins this Saturday. Some details attached - directly from Peter McLeod's itinerary notes, on where some cars may assemble and leave from to go to their destination - Albury.

In keeping with the relaxed intention of the event and the `individualistic` outlook of most SM owners, a “Set your own pace” approach on the tour to Aulbury means you can leave home whenever you like and arrive between 12-2:00 at Oddy’s Park near the Murray River in Albury for the picnic.
I suggest Sydney cars leave Friday pm or very early Saturday morning. Anyone wanting to travel in a group should leave from McDonalds on the Hume at Sutton Forrest at 7:00am sharp. The 6-7 hour drive will see you in Albury on time.
Queensland based cars should make a `pitstop` at SM Australia on Friday (3/20 DoyleAv Unanderra Ph.(02) 4271.8500 and speak to Warren for directions) and join the rest for the run down.
Melbourne and Tasmania based cars should leave outside the Ford entrance at BroadMeadow by 8:30am sharp,… if you want to travel in a group.
