Hey guys, I recently purchased a gti 180, absolutely love the car but know very little about it.
The most pressing matter for me at the moment is the seating position I have long legs and short arms so i need an aftermarket steering wheel.
I can’t seem to find an adaptor/boss kit from a reputable brand.

Also if anyone has had this issue I would greatly appreciate any input into what you did to resolve
Thanks

I found this on EBay.
You'll lose the airbag though which would be a legality problem.
I believe you can fit a resistor to trick the car.into thinking there is an airbag present, that's why the boss comes with "airbag wires".

Thank you, I did see this one but I have not heard of this brand so I wasn’t sure if it was any good.

For something like a steering wheel boss, it's pretty hard to get that wrong so far as quality.
The company is Italian based, whether they make their products there is another matter.
The attached image has the contact details for an SA company that stocks OMP products.
They list their steering wheels, couldn't see any bosses though, but they may be able to.order one for you?

Didn't steering wheel change end when airbags became compulsory?

You can buy ADR compliant, aftermarket airbag wheels, but they are $$$, and they don't look much different to any other airbag wheel anyway.🤷‍♂️
