I called in at the Highfields Pioneer Museum today for a bit of a look. I actually didn't know it existed until I ran into a guy from the Gold Coast that mentioned it. It's situated about 15 minutes from Toowoomba. It has a lot of different things there, village with preserved shops, farming equipment old horse drawn transport etc.
There was more T Fords than you could poke a stick at. Even the "graveyard" of donated vehicles was interesting. I'll put a pretty rare French car's photo up first.😉

Not sure of the crane truck's maker but the 6WD axles, wheels and hubs looked absolutely bombproof.

Hot rodder's dreams here, all the smaller cab versions, all quite straiģht and complete, all languishing in the weather. The Studebaker nearest the camera is quite desirable as are the Jailbar, and Beer Barrel Fords at the other end.

There were an awful lot of bicycles there too. They were hanging from the entire ceiling as well as poked into every nook and cranny in the auto museum.
There used to be a mad keen bicycle collector in Toowoomba, and when he passed away his collection ended up here.
He was on an episode of that Aussie Pickers show.

When RCCQ visited there a few years ago, somebody was in the process of adapting a Chevrolet 4 ohv head to fit onto a Model T Ford block. Apparently that was not an uncommon conversion in the US in the 1920s.

No shortage of old steel wheel tractors, crawlers and horse drawn transport if that's your thing.
I must admit walking through that old machinery shed full of tractors took me back to my childhood, a smell you never forget.😉
