well... how do you get the front bar off a 306?
HELP : how do you get the front bar off a '98 306 xt?

ok
i have taken mine off the GTi-6 a couple of times
there are 4 bolts on mine holding the bar on
you need to remove the inner guard linings from the front wheel arches
in there you will find 4 (2 on each side) 13mm nuts
on the passenger side one is buried so you will have to use a little nouse to get to it
on the drivers side you need to remove the washer bottle to gain access
then on each side there are 2 bolts that operate a clamp type arrangement that you need to loosen and the front bar just about falls off
once you have done it once it's about a 15min job to remove the bar

cheers for that. do you know if there are any problems if you want to re-locate the fuse box? (the one in the engine bay)
