Is that sphere removal tool for saucer spheres or the smaller welded items? The band diameter is larger for the saucer spheres.

There should be a few local C5 or C6 owners able to pick up that sphere strap tool from you. It costs over $200 from Citroen new. For reference your tool would be marked 8611-T = part# 9972CH suiting very late Xantia, C5 and C6 spheres. For the older type welded spheres used in CX, GS, BX, XA, XM it's 4129-T = part# OUT204129T.

Thanks Dave yes that’s the number in the past I have gone to great time to catalogue all numbers and parts etc explain everything and then lose money to post things around I’m basically chucking it all soon I have so much more but ambition doesn’t strike to post everything
